About Me:
Thank you is such a simple and powerful phrase in our vocabulary and it stirs immense emotions at all levels.

I have been a certified professional master stager for the last 5 1/2 years and I not only have a passion for what I do, but a passion for the people I work with.

I currently live in Colorado Springs, CO, which is a large military community. I am able to hear and see the planes bringing our service men and women home in the big C130's and shortly there after the combat jets arrive. I always take a moment and pray for God to bless them with a very happy homecoming with their families.

Then shortly there after newly loaded planes leave with the next group of soldiers flying out to protect not only my country but my freedom and that of my family and friends. Again, I say a long prayer for their safety and the safe return to their awaiting families.

Enlisted soldiers make very little money and when you see a soldier out enjoying a bite to eat with their children offer to pay for their meals or ask if you can give their children a simple bag of M&M's. Better yet slip a $5 or $10 dollar bill into their hand and simply say "Thank you!". You will NOT believe the shock on their faces. They usually say, "Oh, that's okay, you don't have to do that. " But I always so "Oh, yes I do have to do this, as you are protecting and serving our country for our freedom." Most of the time they are uncomfortable and if they are very uncomfortable just simply say "Thank you!"

I often stage homes for military families that are being re-assigned, but cannot afford to have their homes staged. It usually brings them to tears. They ALWAYS, ALWAYS say "Thank you, no one has ever been so nice to us!" The Realtors are usually so surprised with my offer and I'm sure some re-think what might do as their "thank you".

Let's keep the little "Karma" or the little "random acts of kindness" going, as we all have the chance to change the lives of so many!
